Good Afternoon All,
Happy New year and welcome back to the real world. We want to alert
you to a few events regarding very important
CFPB updates over the next ten days.
First,
we have scheduled two brief webinar updates on our progress with
regard to the Borrow Smart Compliance program. Each webinar will
be the same so if you are unable to attend one perhaps you can make
the other. We will work to keep these meetings to 30 minutes or
less. During the meetings we will provide you with updates on our
compliance program and, in particular, we will discuss specific
examples of our work and our plans for completing the program to be
sure you are in full compliance.
You may attend one or both of the sessions.
You will need to register
now for one or both, though, as noted
below. After you register you will receive an email with
instructions for connecting to the conference at the appointed
time.
Session #1 -- This Wednesday,January 9th at 2:30 PM CST.
Session #2 -- Next Wednesday, January 16th at 2:30 PM CST.
Ballard Spahr, our legal firm, is holding a CFPB webinar this Wednesday,
January 9, 2013 from 11:00 AM CST to 12:30 PM CST to review the
CFPB activities/accomplishments in 2012. More important, they will

information regarding what this massive new federal agency holds in
store for us in the year ahead. You really should find time to sit
in on one or all of these free events if you want to know what is
in store for you and our industry in 2013 and, more important, what
