Feds Claim Tribal Lenders Not a Target; Tribes Sue NY Over Crackdown

Regarding Native American Tribal enterprises and
other legitimate, small dollar loan lenders, the damage has been done! The
payday loan industry is in the midst of a hurricane as a result of the premature
pontifications of a regulator who doesn't have a clue. (It's not the economy
stupid, it's about votes.) Consumers are the ultimate casualties. The past 7
days have been hell for those suffering financially. Those of us "on the front
lines" know what I'm saying. Those of you in your ivory towers, don't have a
clue. Ever been desperate for a few hundred bucks and you're forced to call
lenders on page 60 of Google's search results in an attempt to find a lender? If
you're reading this, probably not. Bring on the "heat."
